Editorial Policy & Source Review

Page reviewed: · By getwincode editorial team

This page documents the process: which sources we accept, how corrections work, and how the commercial side is kept away from the fact-checking. Who publishes the site and how it is funded is on about; to actually send a correction, use contact.

A wrong number next to code 600BS can cost a reader money. This page says which sources we use, how we keep sales links out of the fact-check, and how we correct a mistake.

Editorial identity

Content is attributed to the getwincode editorial team rather than to individual personas. What the publication covers, what it deliberately will not claim and how it is funded are set out on the about page; this page documents the review process behind it. The same source rules apply across language versions. We do not use an author biography as evidence that an offer, payment method, legal status or platform process is current. What this site owes a reader as a publisher — and what it explicitly does not promise about the operator — is a separate document from any operator contract: getwincode terms of use.

How do we review promo-code information?

The current process is document-based. We compare values in the site configuration with information visible on official registration, offer, terms, cashier and help pages. We do not present unrecorded registration, deposit, withdrawal, KYC or support interactions as evidence. In practice that means the numbers repeated across pages — 500% + 500 FS on fiat deposits, 600% on crypto, the x30 casino wager — come from one configuration file, not from memory.

Which sources do we use?

The central site configuration is the source for values reused across pages. We compare those values with information visible on official terms and relevant official pages. A company, licence, regulatory or legal statement requires a direct primary source appropriate to that claim; when such a source is unavailable, we omit the statement rather than infer it from marketing copy or another review.

Affiliate disclosure

We may earn a commission when readers register at 1Win through our links. Affiliate monetisation is handled separately from editorial wording: commission does not determine whether a claim is included, and readers should verify the current offer and terms before acting.

How do corrections work?

If you spot an inaccuracy, email editor@getwincode.com with the relevant source. We assess the evidence and update or remove affected wording when the source verifies the correction.

Editorial and commercial separation

Affiliate links can generate commission, but a commercial link is not evidence for an editorial claim. Offer wording, limitations and risk information are reviewed against the source process above. When verifiable evidence contradicts a page, the affected wording is corrected or removed regardless of its commercial placement.

Responsible gambling

This site is for adults aged 18 or over. Gambling can lead to financial loss; a bonus is not income and should not be used to recover losses. Free support is available from GambleAware, GamCare and Gamblers Anonymous. See our Responsible gambling page for self-exclusion tools and warning signs.
